Video: Wacotron “Toothpaste”

Armed with an easygoing drawl and a name that makes him sound like a Texan Transformer, rising rapper Wacotron is a name to keep an eye on. His latest release is “Toothpaste,” a Southside & CuBeatz produced heater about the transition from trapping to rapping. Weaving between 8-bit pipes and booming 808s, “Toothpaste” details the decisions the 808 Mafia-affiliated rapper had to make to survive and calls out those who doubted and deceived him: “I had to cut some people out, they was too fake/Shoulda had four eyes, they was two-faced/They were tryna slow me down, but it’s too late/I used to rob, but I found me a new way.”
