ZayBang announced today that his album, Play For Keeps, is going to release next week on March 11th and he also dropped the video for his new single “Unnoticed.” The single features fellow San Francisco artist Lil Yee.

The upcoming album will be his first on EMPIRE and it marks a big moment for ZayBang who has gained a significant buzz throughout California after two early projects, Point Guard and The Streets Blame Me. The latter was named by SPIN as “one of the best from the Bay Area in recent memory” and Pitchfork spotlighted the single, “Can’t Lose,” as their “must-hear rap song of the day.” He also was one of the main artists on Zaytoven’s best-of-the-Bay collab tape, Fo15, which dropped last year. ZayBang has been recognized for the weight and powerful emotionality in his music which is the result of the difficult circumstances he’s had to overcome. After spending a big portion of his early life in jail, ZayBang has been working overtime to take his music to the next level.
