Bouncing back from a prison sentence and getting shot twice is an accomplishment of it’s own; Portland, OR based rapper T$poon wants more than what many would consider possible.

After arriving on the scene of the Pacific North West in 2007, T$poon began to make a name for himself under the moniker of T Soprano in the city with the release of Respect Before Success. In the last few years, rapping under the name new name TSpoon, the determined West Coast rapper has built a loyal following in the region with the release of Class Is In Session, The Cost Of Living, and various singles featuring artists such as Larry June, Problem, and Iamsu.

His latest release comes as a follow up off his most recent project, “Big Spoon,” in the form of an animated music video for “All Night” featuring Rexx Life Raj. Over a District Yori and K. Fisha produced West Coast slap, T$poon showcases why he currently is holding the position of next to blow out of the Pacific North West. Recruiting Rexx Life Raj was an easy decision for the Portland rapper as Raj’s iconic voice has been making it’s way to the top of the Bay Area music scene after the release of his sophomore album, ‘Father Figure 2: Flourish.’ The collaboration is a perfect record for the two, as the duo’s single embodies the West Coast’s signature sound.

With a massive buzz in his city behind him, the rising rapper is gearing up to take over. His follow up to ‘Big Spoon’ will come in the form of an 808 Mafia executively produced mixtape. The mixtape is currently slated to be released this summer via Empire Records.
