Video: Slimelife Shawty “Slatt Bizness”

Slimelife Shawty’s conversational melody and ten-toes-down authenticity earned him co-signs from the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Young Thug. Today, the Atlanta rapper gives a taste of what makes him special in his new song and video “Slatt Bizness.” The song is a compelling distillation of Slimelife’s point-of-view–he follows his own muse, minds his own business, and doesn’t take cues from anyone who hasn’t been through what he’s been through. The ShotByWolf-directed video finds the 22-year-old Alamo Records signee having a ball in Miami with his day ones, as they shoot hoops and interact with the locals.

This is Slime’s first new song and video since the release of “Baby Boy” (1.5 million views), and it follows other hits like “No Brakes” (2.4 million views) and “Homicide” in the lead-up to Better Livin, his next project, coming later this year via Alamo Records.
