Roll out the yellow carpet, the yellow Cullinan, or make like Kim K at Balenciaga, Key Glock is dropping Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe) on March 25th via Paper Route Empire. Today, Key Glock surprise dropped the video for “Pain Killers” – an ice cold warning track to all. Strutting through the snow in head to toe Christian Dior, Key Glock is facing the elements with his goat by his side. Much like the goat, Glock doesn’t run with the herd – he keeps his head down, handles his business and keeps moving. As Glock raps, “I ain’t worried bout another n****, I handle business/You bleed like I bleed, n****, you want it you can get it,” the message is made clear. The goat has arrived, and when you mess with the goat, you get the horns.
“Pain Killers” is the first of 10 new tracks on Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe). Yellow Tape 2was originally released November 5th via Paper Route Empire. The album debuted at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100,#1 on Independent Albums, and #2 on Top Rap Albums. With the 20-track project, Glock cracked his first solo entrance into the top 10 on Billboard 200, racked up 70 million streams on Spotify alone, and did it all without a major label or a single guest feature. In January, Glock paid tribute to his cousin, mentor and friend, Young Dolph, with “Proud” off of PRE’s Long Live Dolph album.
