Video: Doodie Lo “Nowhere”

Only The Family isa fitting title for Lil Durk’s collective that is powered by loyalty and brotherhood — even if you grew up almost an hour away in Kankakee, Illinois like Doodie Lo. Doodie holds it down for his homies despite the distance, and his “Nowhere” video is proof positive of his OTF fidelity. Doodie delivers brawny warnings to his opps in a pleasant rasp, while also making it clear that he will slide in the name of his brothers — especially his late confidante King Von: “Bring the choppas out, we gon’ do this s**t for Grandson.”

Aside from the camaraderie he’s found in his friends, Doodie Lo takes pride in his Kankakee roots. “Nowhere” follows Doodie’s proclamation as the mayor of the streets in the “Mr. Kankakee” visual, and his vow to put his city on the map in the Moneybagg Yo-assisted track, “Don’t Worry.” These three tracks only partially open a portal into Doodie’s life that is further explored on his debut project, Big Doodie Lo. Big Doodie Lo is home to the mellowing Lil Durk-assisted track “Alone,” head-banging street anthem “Bodies” (2M+ YouTube views), and “Me & Doodie Lo,” (8M+ YouTube views) an emphatic collab between Doodie and King Von. Including additional features from Pooh Shiesty, BIG30, and Yung Mal, Big Doodie Lo is available everywhere via Only The Family / EMPIRE.
