Video: Don Q “True King”

Don Q and A Boogie wit da Hoodie are the yin and yang of Highbridge The Label, the label they co-founded in 2016. While A Boogie delivers melodic raps and high-register cadences, Don Q comes well equipped with clever double entendres and a throaty rasp. Comparable to the yin, Don’s concealed personality is only a shell for his lyrical prowess. After taking a step back to strategically plot his next moves, the Bronx rapper shares “True King,” his new video, celebrating being in a better space in his life and career. The Starr Mazi-directed video sees Don delivering bruising raps with a bulldog by his side and taking a ride on a motorcycle while surrounded by Ruff Ryders motorcyclists.

Don Q is back and better than ever. His “True King” visual officially commences his homecoming season, marking his return to the rap game. The visual is Don’s lead single from Double Or Nothing (DON), his first project in three years since the 2018 mixtape, Don Season 2. The forthcoming mixtape houses 10 tracks that emphasize Don’s lyrical capabilities to new listeners and feed the hungry ears of his loyal fanbase. Now that Don has found his balance, Double Or Nothing is a warning to the non-believers to bet on him before it’s too late. Including an additional feature from B Lovee, Double Or Nothing (DON) arrives October 22 via Highbridge The Label/EMPIRE
