Energizing the streets with his blunt-force trap sound, Atlanta rapper CosaNostra Kidd is self-aware of his star quality in his latest video single “We Straight.” Under the direction of Howard Ross, the video finds CosaNostra Kidd in his neighborhood surrounded by his partners, with special appearances from hip hop artist’s Key Glock and Skooly. Giving a thunderous flow above distorted keys and booming 808’s from producer’s Bandplay & Greedy Money, CosaNostra Kidd crafts a trunk-rattling anthem: “I take care of the fam, my momma she straight my brothers been eating we already ate.”

The 21-year-old’s latest effort arrives just a few short weeks after delivering his project “WHAM.” The seven track project is a dose of ruthless bars with no features, unwavering rawness and a undeniable swagger.
