To put it short, Tampa Tony is a legend in his hometown. Back in 2008, the rapper/DJ was sentenced to life in prison for conspiracy to possess and distribute 5+ kilos of cocaine after a 2006 drug bust (Big Gipp even recently referred to him as the “Big Meech of Tampa”). Surprisingly, two years ago the great Barack Obama, on his final day of presidency, commuted Tony’s sentence along with 71 other inmates who had been handed very harsh penalties for drug trafficking. Last month, Tony was finally released from federal prison and today, he released his first single “No Feelings”. Check it out below and let’s thank Obama was again.
