Stream: Slimelife Shawty “Where’s The Love”

One of ATL’s fastest rising stars Slimelife Shawty just dropped some lessons in loyalty in his new single “Where’s The Love.” Similar to the 2003 Black Eyed Peas classic, the new single finds Slimelife wondering where the love is, but specifically from the streets he’s given his all too. Atop the ominous piano and violin-led trap beat, the young rapper shows love to his crew that never fails to hold him down, while also questioning the lack of loyalty and love from the women he’s involved with and his street associates who claim to be down for him but talk about him behind his back. Even though he’s only 22, Slimelife is so gifted at putting his raw emotions into his lyrics and really drawing you in with every melodic bar he spits.

Stay tuned for more releases from the rising ATL rapper, including his new project Better Livin arriving next month via Alamo Records.
