Let Joe tell it: “For this project, I heavily incorporated my skills as a guitarist into the fabric of the songs. The tone is primarily a somber one, reflecting on the reverence we ought to have for one another as conscious beings and the spirit of life the connects us all. As my second studio album, it is a response to the lighthearted sound of my first album bringing duality to my discography and paying homage to the darkness that yearns to be acknowledged and integrated into the self. Lyricism still prevails heavily, but subtle melodic notes make appearances frequently enough to make this a spiritual, immersive experience for the listener.”
