Ahead of Rolling Loud Miami this summer, the world’s largest hip-hop festival makes landfall at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas for a two-day event, March 18-19.

A Cactus Jack Records takeover is in the works at SXSW this weekend as Don Toliver and Sheck Wes are set to headline the Rolling Loud x RapTV Showcase.

South by is credited as the quintessential destination for creative communities around the world, converging music, tech, film, education, and culture. After a three-year hiatus since the last in-person event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of people have rushed to The Lone Star State for a week-long conference that includes showcases, film screenings, and a myriad of other networking opportunities.

This year’s undercard performances include OG Chase B, Babyface Ray, BbyMutha, Digital Nas, Duke Deuce, Dro Kenji, JELEEL, Ken Carson, Monaleo, Rob49, TisaKorean, Yung Karo, and many more.

Two powerhouse hip-hop brands have partnered together to showcase up-and-coming artists such as Mike Dimes, Stone Cold Jzzle, and Jasiah – as well as prominent figures within Texas’ storied rap scene like Trae Tha Truth.

The two-day event is free for official SXSW badge holders and $10 for general admission.

In addition to the showcase, Rolling Loud will also play host to a panel discussion – featuring Tariq Cherif, Rob Gibbs, Baroline Diaz, and Jacques Morel –  that deconstructs how to get booked as an artist, scheduled for Friday (3/18) at the Austin Convention Center starting at 2:30pm CT.
