The legendary Rare Essence drops a new single to support the burgeoning #DontMuteDC movement. The group is joined by D.C. rappers Tone P, Lightshow and Noochie (one of my personal favorites.) The #DontMuteDC movement stems from interloping gentrifiers complaining about Go-Go music. The art form has long been an integral piece of local culture and identity.
