Recently Dizzy Wright released the weed anthem “Promoter” which features Man Named Devin & B-Real. The song affected me tremendously on a personal level. I’ve heard many songs dedicated to the wonders of God’s healing leaf, but never one which addressed the years people such as myself wasted incarcerated, on bail, or embroiled in probation & parole. While we discuss the song, the episode is more about my appreciation for hearing my story told in music for the first time in such a personal & relatable manner.
