Mixtapes: Marino Infantry – Enter the Infantry, Vol. 2

A$AP Ant and the Marino Infantry team which consists of LuLu P, Soduh, and Baby 9eno just collided for a massive thirty-one track project where they recruited many of the underground’s top new and more established talents in the DMV and beyond. The group has already shot two visuals from the project with A$AP Ant and Baby 9eno’s collaborative track “Futuristic Diamonds” where the pair took on a stripped back, slow-burning instrumental, taking turns punching in over the beat going back and forth, as well as “Mega Man X” where Ant was joined by his fellow Baltimore natives LuLu P and Soduh. The Marino Infantry have always been devout students of nostalgia, through their lyrical abilities and diverse array of references they litter their bars with, in addition to their now sold out new clothing collection which features the classic Marino Infantry logo silhouette filled with several popular scenes from sports and cinema imposed on them, coordinating the clothing with the ten-plus cities they visited on their pop-up shop tour which had people wrapped around the block each time. They also paid homage to the late-DMX drawing inspiration from the Ruff Ryders Rider or Die Vol. 2 cover from over two-decades old now. Keep an eye out for the upcoming visuals from the Marino Infantry team and dive into their new project “Enter the Infantry, Vol. 2.”
