J. Stalin has long been one of the most prolific artists coming from the West Coast. Since 2006 he’s released over 20 proper albums, from solo efforts to retail compilations. He recently released “West Oakland N*gga,” a single with a fitting heavy West Coast feel, as Stalin details his daily experiences in the truly unique city of Oakland.

J. Stalin delivered his debut album, On Behalf of the Streets, in November 2006 during the first hyphy boom, crafting a street classic by fusing the Bay’s signature mob and hyphy sounds with gritty hood tales. A full decade and fifteen studio albums later, J. Stalin rejoins production duo The Mekanix for his 22-track opus On Behalf of the Streets 2, releasing October 28th.

On Behalf of the Streets 2 features appearances from IAMSU!, K Camp, Nef The Pharaoh, Lil Bood, G-Eazy, Philthy Rich, Slim 400, Rayven Justice, Celly Ru, 4Rax of the Mekanix, Young Doe, G-Stack, Erk Da Jerk and a posthumous appearance from The Jacka. “West Oakland N*gga” is the project’s lead single.
