For those who aren’t in the know, Hit Skrewface is one of the leading forefathers of Gary, Indiana hip-hop. He was beyond instrumental in the rise of Freddie Gibbs, who in turn asked Hit to be part of his ESGN label. Gibbs regularly praised Hit for being an inspiration and mentor.
