Have you ever seen a young athlete, and they’re just different and on another level compared to the other athletes around them (their team included)? You look at the others around you and have a collective head nod, agreeing that this kid is the truth. While I listened to Haitian/Canadian Artist, Yrnherby, I immediately knew this guy was next level.

First and foremost, when you look at his aesthetic, it comes off as tranquil, but exceedingly confident. That is a vicious combination. The ability to stay on a path with fervent dedication, but also remain leveled is a skill within itself. And, the aforementioned is also shown in his music. 

The first piece I had a chance to listen to was “In My bag”. From the start, the production on this piece captures you with an easygoing piano. His voice follows in, almost in a crooning manner. A Hard-hitting percussion then creates an almost perfect juxtaposition with the subtleness of the keys. His delivery within the hook and verses is catchy as well. Yrnherby has the ability to create a soundscape that is not only pleasing to the ear, but tells a story for the audience to follow step by step.

There’s a certain joy you can hear within Yrnherby’s voice that adds to the listening experience. As an audience member, you can almost live vicariously through him while you’re immersed in the world of hsi music. It’s no surprise that he’s been able to garner over 400,000 streams since entering the business. His sound has the ability to diversify as well. If you take a second to hear records by him like “BY MY SIDE”, you also get a more serious and romantic variation of him.

Yrnherby is on the right path to success in this industry.
