Last week we caught up with 15-year old Memphis rapper Savage Kidd for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview. During our sit-down, he spoke about being born in South Memphis before moving up to North Memphis, getting a lot of attention in school now that he is rapping, his mother being supportive of his music career, being influenced by Young Dolph, Key Glock & Famous Dex, using music as a way to stay out of trouble, going viral on the local news in Jackson, MS for promoting the artwork to his single “No Pad No Pencil” that features a gun with a microphone attached to it all over the city, being surrounded by music his entire life (his dad and uncle were rappers), his older brother Javo that is in prison, his goals for 2020 and much more!
