The EP will include a few of Pressa’s biggest tracks from 2020, including the charged up “Blackberry Zap” ft. Jackboy, which is a departure from the harder, street tracks Pressa is known for, but still feels authentic by meshing both rappers’ melodic rap style with Jackboy’s southern charm. It’s also home to “Head Tap” ft. two of Brooklyn’s most exciting drill artists, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow, as well as “96 Freestyle,” an introspective cut that he shared back in May. Additional guest appearances include Flipp Dinero, D-Block Europe, and Taliban Glizzy.

Gardner Express is a nod to the The Gardiner Expressway, a major East-West highway in Toronto. The title is meant to evoke a journey from Pressa’s beginnings of wanting to make a name for himself in his own city, travelling with the songs on the EP to the city’s core via the Express, yet ultimately continuing to grow and build his following outside of Toronto while collaborating with some of the hottest acts in the US.
