Defining what it means to be loyal is subjective, but Lil Durk’s Only The Family protege Booka600 has his own requirements set in stone. By Booka’s definition, there are five commands that anyone deserving of loyalty must follow:

1. Don’t switch up on your people

2. Don’t be selfish with your people

3. Be with your people whether they are up or down.

4. Choose your people over material things, above life, I tell my brothers, “I love you more than I love life,” and I mean that. I wouldn’t trade you for nothing in this world. 

5. If I go up, you go up. If I win, you win.

In exchange for abiding by these rules, Booka pledges allegiance to his family, his fans, and his OTF brothers on his album, Loyal. The 15-track project is fully loaded with the pain-scorched melodies, thoughtful narration, and bars that show street acumen that keeps his supporters coming back for more. Including guest features from Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Gunna, and Lil Tjay, Booka chronicles his emotionally intense journey from the streets to touring alongside his OTF brethren. 

Speaking on the album, Booka600 says, “I base everything I‘ve been going through on being loyal to my family, my friends, and to my fans. Loyalty is a concept I’ve been raised with, my mom instilled it in me. I was taught at an early age to be there for my people, take care of them, feed them, period.” Booka’s unconditional love for his family and friends fuel his motivation to become one of the next breakout artists from the OTF collective and rise from the streets. As he proves in the soft-spoken Loyal highlight “Phase”, Booka is devoted to his aspirations just as much as his loved ones: “I gotta beat the odds, go through this phase.”
