UnitedMasters recording artist, producer, songwriter, singer, and rapper, Velous, partnered with HipHopDX to exclusively premiere the track, and lyric video, “Drop Down.”

In “Drop Down,” Velous croons to the baddest chick in the club, vying for her attention in a room of men who can’t afford her gaze.

“With all of my music, I really try to make a vibe for a moment. I try not to go out of my way to sell it or force it. ‘Drop Down’ is no different. I know for sure it’s going to fuck the club and the streets up, in the best way possible,” explains Velous. 

“Drop Down” is the third single from Velous this year, following “Flipmode (Remix)” featuring Fabolous and Chris Brown.  

The “Drop Down” lyric video will be followed up, August 17th, with the official music video, directed by Gerard Victor. With over seven years of production credits for hip-hop heavy hitters under his belt, Velous emerges from behind the boards and to the mic gearing up the release of his project, Xotica, later this year.
