Video: Park Hill ft OTF Ikey – Let It Rain

With an ear for talent as refined as his ear for hooks, Lil Durk always keeps an eye out for the new hotness in his hometown of Chicago and his adopted home of Atlanta. Among the best and brightest of his Only The Family signees are Park Hill and OTF Ikey, who join forces for “Let It Rain,” their new music video. A heavy and deeply introspective rap ballad, “Let It Rain” derives its power from Park Hill’s rich and lightly-accented croon as he ruminates on the inevitable pain caused by street life. Echoing the melodic phrasing of his mentor Durk, OTF Ikey discusses his personal struggle in an infectious verse: “I’m smoking on these ‘Woods, they ease my pain/Since Nuski left us nothin’ been the same/They took Baby D it gave me a migraine/All my problems, yeah I face it like a man.” In the video, featuring a cameo appearance from Lil Durk, the two emcees experience a dark night of the soul in Atlanta, embellished by camera trickery and splashy visual effects. “Let It Rain” is a highlight from Lil Durk Presents: Only The Family Involved Vol. 2, the latest compilation from the OTF label.
