Sharp-tongued, 19 yo Birmingham rapper TNT Tez has unrivaled energy and a penchant for pointed punchlines. On his latest single, “Go In,” Tez bounces between boasts and threats with nods to iconic cartoons like Spongebob and The Flinstones, and not one but two bars declaring his loyalty to Nike — from “You prefer the stripes, I want the checks,” to “I’ve got these J’s on, these are not no Vans.”

TNT Tez is currently on a national tour supporting Alamo Records label-mate Comethazine. This comes off the success of the infectious banger “Cropped Out,” which has over 1M streams on all platforms, and the ferocious “Coca Cola” which surfaced in the Season 3 premiere of HBO’s Insecure. Expect flashier visuals and more speaker-knocking bangers from Tez, who is primed for a breakout year in 2019.
