Houston, TX: But who the hell is Smooky MarGielaa? Smooky is a 15-year-old rapper, born and raised in the South Bronx, with a brilliant talent for melodies. Smooky’s name derives from his enthusiasm for the Belgian luxury fashion house Maison Margiela; he’s always wearing the iconic Margiela “Future” sneakers.

From the hypnotic “Stay ‘100’” to the A$AP Rocky-cosigned “Out My Face,”  Smooky’s sharp voice floats on these cloudy beats and, for a 15-year-old, showcases skillful songwriting. Never forgetting his motto/crew, G.R.A.P.E., which stands for “Get Rich And Pray Everyday,” Smooky often talks about his grinding, his old life in the Bronx and his quick rise on the stardom. Smooky is currently at work on new music, to be released in 2018.
