With the third installment to his LP discovery, Travis Scott abruptly delivers his long awaited album AstroWorld
Naming the album after the Houston, Texas Six Flags AstroWorld theme park that was demolished in 2005. Scott took a trip down memory lane with the name [BARS!], and made it a priority to pay homage to his Mo City hometown, and gift patient fans with a new album to rage to.
The vibrant, and exciting cover art to the LP by David LaChapelle; features the giant golden inflatable Travis Scott Scott head on carnival grounds with two children, one jumping for joy spilling his popcorn into the air, and the other enjoying a lollipop. Very creative, artistic, and cohesive to the title and theme of the album
Pressing play on the album is like entering a new world. With such astonishing production from producers such as FKI 1st, Wondagurl, Hit-boy, Tay Keith, Boi-1da, Gezin 808 Mafia, Tm88, Turbo, Sonny Digital, Bwheezy, 30 Roc, Frank Dukes, Wallis Lane, Sevn Thomas, Cardo Got Wings, Mike Dean, and Cactus Jack himself. Unlikely transitions between beats and songs further aid the magic on this album, providing sounds that have stories to tell on their own.
With features from Frank Ocean, Drake, Swae Lee, Kid Cudi, Stevie Wonder, James Blake, Juice Wrld, Sheck Wes, Tame Impala, The Weekend, Pharrell, 21 Savage, Gunna, NAV, And the Migos; Its definitely safe to assume that the Allstar line up definatly lives up to the hype.
With the release of Astroworld and each track being phenomenal , contributing to the aura, and vibe of the album its certain to be one of the best releases of the year. With it being almost 2 years since his last LP; Cactus Jack demonstrated what most artist of today fail to realize. Its best when you take your time. I give the album a solid 4 stars. ITS LIT !
Stop Trying To Be God Ft. Kid Cudi, Stevie Wonder, James Blake (Personal Favorite!)
